When the 14-day cancellation right applies

If you buy a service or care plan online from The Choice Studios, you will normally have 14 days after the day the contract is made to change your mind and cancel without giving a reason.

This applies to online purchases of The Reset and Care + Protect.

It may also apply if you are exceptionally asked to pay in full in advance for Start With Strength, Priority Nail Rescue or Prescriptive Gel Manicure and you make that purchase online or at a distance.

An ordinary £0 appointment reservation is different.

Reserving a Start With Strength, Priority Nail Rescue or Prescriptive Gel Manicure appointment online does not require payment and does not create an obligation to purchase the service. The 14-day statutory cancellation period therefore does not start merely because you reserve an appointment time.

The usual appointment cancellation and rescheduling policy still applies to your reservation.

If your appointment is within the 14 days

If a service you have already bought online is due to begin within the 14-day cancellation period, you do not have to wait until the 14 days have ended.

If you want the service to begin during this period, I will ask you to confirm that you would like me to start providing it before the cancellation period has ended.

If you then cancel after part of the service has been provided, you may need to pay a proportionate amount for the part provided up to the time you cancel.

For a one-visit service, once your service has been fully provided, your 14-day cancellation right will end if you asked for the service to begin during this period and confirmed that you understood your 14-day cancellation right would end once the service had been fully provided.

For a multi-visit care plan, if you cancel after part of the plan has already been provided, you may need to pay for the part of the plan you have already received.

If a refund is due

If you cancel within your 14-day cancellation period and a refund is due, I will make the refund without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after you tell me you are cancelling. 

The refund will normally be made using the same payment method you used to pay. You will not be charged a fee for the refund. 

If you asked for your service to begin within the 14 days and part of it has already been provided, any amount that the law allows me to charge for that part may be deducted from the refund. 

Your appointment cancellation policy

The statutory 14-day right to cancel a paid online contract is separate from the studio’s usual rules for cancelling or moving an appointment.

An ordinary £0 appointment reservation for Start With Strength, Priority Nail Rescue or Prescriptive Gel Manicure does not itself create a paid service contract or start a 14-day statutory cancellation period.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. The full arrangements for unpaid reservations, prepaid appointments, cancellations, rescheduling and missed appointments are explained in the Terms & Conditions.
